Telaga Bintang

Telaga Bintang is a unique lagoon located in the West Waigeo District of Raja Ampat Regency, West Papua Province. When viewed from a hilltop, this lagoon resembles a star shape, with surrounding hills creating a natural star-like impression


To enjoy the view of Telaga Bintang, visitors must first hike up a coral hill. The journey to Telaga Bintang takes approximately 5-10 minutes from the Piaynemo Geosite, near Waigeo Villa in Waisai Town. The path to the coral hilltop is not easy; it involves climbing over large and small coral rocks. Visitors need to hold onto these rocks as the trail can be steep 1.

The Red Bird-of-Paradise (Cendrawasih Merah) is a captivating avian wonder endemic to the lush rainforests of Waigeo and Batanta islands within the Raja Ampat archipelago in West Papua, Indonesia.


The Red Bird-of-Paradise (Paradisaea rubra) is a striking bird species belonging to the genus Paradisaea.
